Step Ups

"Step Ups" are a lower body exercise that primarily targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings. They are performed using a bench, step, or sturdy elevated platform.

  1. Stand facing the bench with your feet about hip-width apart.

  2. Step up onto the bench with one foot, pressing through your heel to lift your body up. Bring the other foot up to stand atop the bench.

  3. Step back down with the leading foot, followed by the other, returning to the starting position.

  4. Repeat the movement, alternating the leading leg with each repetition. This ensures balanced muscle development.
