Power Clean is a complex strength exercise often found in weightlifting training programs. It is an explosive movement where the barbell is pulled from the floor to the shoulders.
Start in an upright position, with your feet hip-width apart and hands shoulder-width on the barbell.
Bend down to pick up the barbell with your hands and keep it close to your shins.
Straighten up by extending your legs and hips and lifting the barbell into the air.
Explosively pull the barbell up to your shoulders and squat down to catch it.
Stand up and hold the barbell in the final position in front of your chest.
Lower the barbell back to the floor in a controlled manner to complete the repetition.
