Jump Rope (High Knee) / High Knee Jump Rope is a more intense variant of jump roping, where the knees are lifted particularly high. This is an effective exercise to improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen leg muscles, and enhance coordination. It is a dynamic and challenging exercise, so it is important to start slowly and increase intensity and speed over time. Ensure you choose a suitable surface for jump roping and have enough space around you to train safely.

  1. Take the jump rope and stand upright. Hold the handles of the jump rope in each hand and let the rope fall to the ground behind you.

  2. Begin swinging the rope by turning your wrists to bring the rope over your body. Ensure the rope turns smoothly and under control.

  3. As the rope swings over your body, lift your knees alternately as high as possible. Try to raise them to hip height or even higher.

  4. Perform the knee lifts in rhythm with the rope swing. Each time the rope touches the ground, alternate the knee lifts.

  5. Keep your upper body upright and gaze forward. Engage your abdominal muscles to maintain stability and control during the exercise.

  6. Continue jumping and lifting your knees as high as possible while swinging the rope continuously.
