Calf Raise - Standing (Lever)

The Lever Standing Calf Raise is a strength exercise for the calf muscles. The body is lifted by the calf muscles. The exercise can be performed using a lever or weights. It is important that the movement is performed slowly and with control to avoid injuries. Additionally, breathing should remain controlled during the exercise.

  1. Stand with the balls of your feet on an elevation, such as a workout step or a barbell.

  2. Position your shoulders and hips under the lever bar.

  3. Hold the bar with both hands and keep your gaze forward.

  4. Lift your body with your calf muscles as high as possible.

  5. Hold the tension for a moment and then slowly lower your body back down.
