Rowing on the machine (Lever Row) is a strength exercise based on the principle of leverage. It strengthens the back muscles and can be performed with either a barbell or dumbbell.
Stand in front of the weight and grasp it with both hands shoulder-width apart.
Slightly bend your knees and keep your back straight, leaning your upper body forward.
Keep the weight close to your body and pull it up towards your abs by pulling your elbows back.
Lower the weight slowly and in a controlled way back to the ground.
