Barbell Standing Military Press is an upper body exercise, especially for the shoulders and triceps. It is important to maintain the correct form during this exercise and not to overload the shoulders. Therefore, do not choose too heavy weights to prevent injuries.
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold the barbell at shoulder height with a grip slightly wider than shoulder-width.
Press the barbell upwards until your arms are fully extended, but without overextending them.
Hold the barbell at the top for a moment and then slowly lower it back to shoulder height.
