Across Chest Shoulder Stretch

The Across Chest Shoulder Stretch exercise is a stretching exercise aimed at stretching the shoulders and upper back. This exercise is especially useful for people who spend a lot of time sitting and may experience tension or pain in the shoulder and neck area.

  1. Stand upright and bring your right arm across your chest. The arm should be parallel to the floor and at a 90-degree angle to your body.

  2. Place your left arm over your right arm, so your left elbow is in the crook of your right arm.

  3. Now press your left arm against your right arm to feel a stretch in the shoulder and neck area. Hold the stretch for 10-15 seconds.

  4. Then switch sides and repeat the exercise with your left arm across your chest and your right arm over it.
