Dumbbell Squats are a strength exercise primarily targeting the leg muscles (quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings), but also engaging the core muscles.
Grab a dumbbell and hold it by the upper side.
Stand hip-width apart and bring the dumbbell to your chest.
Squat down by pushing your buttocks back and bending your knees.
Ensure your knees stay in line with your toes.
Squat as deep as possible until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
Press back up to the starting position.
