The Above Head Chest Stretch is a simple yet effective exercise designed to stretch and open up the chest muscles, particularly the pectoralis major and minor. This stretch is beneficial for improving posture, increasing range of motion in the upper body, and relieving tightness or tension resulting from prolonged sitting, computer use, or intense upper-body workouts.

  1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.

  2. Clasp your hands together behind your head.

  3. Gently press your elbows back while lifting your chest upwards and outwards.

  4. Keep your head and neck in a neutral position, avoid arching your lower back excessively.

  5. Maintain this position, feeling a stretch across your chest and front shoulders.
