Biceps Curl (Barbell)

Barbell Bicep Curl is a strength exercise that specifically trains the muscles in the upper arm (biceps). It's important during this exercise to ensure that your elbows remain in the same position throughout the movement and that you keep your shoulders down during the exercise. Avoid swinging motions and perform the exercise slowly and controlled to achieve the best possible result.

  1. Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and upright. Grasp the barbell with an overhand grip (palms facing up) at shoulder width.

  2. Slowly bend your elbows and lift the barbell to the chest area, contracting your biceps. Ensure your elbows remain in the same position throughout the movement.

  3. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position.
