Triceps Push-Down - Rope (Cable)

Cable Pushdown with Rope is an exercise primarily targeting the triceps muscles. Key points: - Maintain an upright posture with a straight back throughout the exercise. - Avoid using momentum and perform the movement in a controlled manner. - Exhale as you push the rope down and inhale as you return to the starting position.

  1. Stand upright in front of a cable machine and attach a rope grip to the top of the cable.

  2. Grasp the rope with a neutral grip (palms facing each other) and bring your upper arms close to your body.

  3. Your elbows should be at a 90-degree angle and fixed close to your body.

  4. Press the rope down by extending your forearms in a controlled manner and activating the triceps muscles.

  5. Pause briefly to maintain tension in the triceps muscles, then slowly return to the starting position while contracting the muscles.
