Push-Up - Decline

Decline Push-Up is a bodyweight exercise that primarily targets the chest muscles. It is important to perform this exercise with slow and controlled movements to avoid injuries. Avoid using momentum and keep your posture stable. If you have difficulty maintaining stable posture, you can support your knees on the ground.

  1. Place your feet on an elevated surface, such as a bench or a stable set of boxes. Place your hands on the ground, shoulder-width apart, and keep your body in a straight line.

  2. Align your body by tensing your abdominal, back, and glute muscles. This is your starting position.

  3. Slowly bend your elbows and lower your body until your chest nearly touches the ground. Keep your elbows close to your body during this movement.

  4. Press yourself back up by fully extending your arms and bringing your body into a straight position.
