Lateral Raise (Cable)

Cable Lateral Raise is a strength exercise that mainly trains the lateral shoulder muscles, known as the deltoids.

  1. Set the cable machine to a low position and attach the handle to the cable.

  2. Stand sideways to the machine and grab the handle with the hand further from the cable.

  3. Slightly bend your knees, keep your back straight, and slowly and controlledly pull the handle to the side of your body.

  4. Keep the tension on your shoulders and slowly and controlledly let the handle return to the starting position.
