Clean and Press (Dumbbell)

The Dumbbell Clean and Press is a compound exercise that combines a dumbbell clean with a shoulder press. It targets multiple muscle groups including the legs, core, back, shoulders, and arms, making it effective for building strength and power.

  1. Begin with feet shoulder-width apart, dumbbells at your sides.

  2. Squat slightly, then explosively pull the dumbbells up, flipping your wrists so that dumbbells land at shoulder height in a fluid motion.

  3. From the shoulder height position, press the dumbbells overhead until your arms are fully extended.

  4. Lower the dumbbells back to the shoulders, then to the starting position at your sides.

  5. Continue for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining a controlled and fluid motion throughout.
