Air Squat is a fundamental bodyweight exercise that targets the lower body, primarily focusing on the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and core. It's a versatile movement beneficial for building lower body strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall functional fitness.

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly turned out.

  2. Extend your arms straight out in front for balance or cross them over your chest.

  3. Initiate the movement by pushing your hips back and bending your knees to lower into a squat.

  4. Keep your chest up and back straight, ensuring your knees don't bow inward.

  5. Lower down until your thighs are parallel to the floor, or go deeper for a full squat, maintaining weight in your heels.

  6. Drive through your heels to return to the starting position, squeezing your glutes at the top.
