It is crucial to perform the movement slowly and with control to avoid injuries. A wider grip reduces the strain on the forearms and increases the load on the bicep muscles.

  1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart and grasp the EZ-Bar with a wide grip, about 4-6 inches wider than shoulder width.

  2. Keep your arms close to your body and bend your elbows to slowly lift the bar towards your shoulders.

  3. Exhale and slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
