The Farmers Carry is an exercise to strengthen the lateral abdominal muscles and to improve posture and stability. Note: To prevent injuries, make sure to choose an appropriate weight load and perform the exercise slowly and controlled.
Begin by holding a dumbbell in one hand and keeping it along the side of your body, like a suitcase.
Stand upright with a straight back and engage your abdominal muscles.
Now walk slowly forward, pushing your hips forward and ensuring that your upper body remains stable and does not lean to the side.
Walk a certain distance, then switch sides and repeat the exercise with the other hand.
Repeat this for several sets, making sure to keep your abdominal muscles and core engaged.
