The Butterfly Pose is a yoga position that improves the flexibility of the hips and thighs. Also known as the "Bound Angle Pose" or "Baddha Konasana," it is particularly popular in Yin Yoga practice. It is important to listen to your own body in this pose and not to overstretch. If you experience pain or discomfort, you should exit or modify the pose.

  1. Sit on a yoga mat and bring the soles of your feet together, allowing the knees to fall to the sides.

  2. Draw your heels as close to your body as possible and hold your feet with your hands.

  3. Gently press your knees down and feel the stretch in your hips and thighs.

  4. Hold this position for 30 seconds to 1 minute and breathe deeply in and out.

  5. To intensify the stretch, you can slowly lean your upper body forward and place your hands on your feet or on the ground.
