Plank is a static body exercise that primarily trains the abdominal muscles. It involves lying prone on the floor, supporting the body on the forearms and toes, and holding the position for a set time.

  1. Start in a prone position on the floor.

  2. Position the elbows directly under the shoulders and place the forearms parallel on the floor.

  3. Lift your body into a straight line off the floor.

  4. Extend the legs fully and ensure your body remains in a straight line.

  5. Tense your abdominal and gluteal muscles and hold the position for as long as possible.
