Starfish Crunch (also known as Star Crunch) is an abdominal exercise that targets the lateral abdominal muscles (obliques) and the rectus abdominis. Ensure you perform the movement in a controlled manner and use the strength of your abdominal muscles to achieve maximum results and avoid injury.

  1. Lie flat on your back and extend your arms and legs out so you resemble a star.

  2. Simultaneously lift your upper body and extended legs, attempting to bring them towards the center of your body.

  3. Use your abdominal muscles to maintain tension while briefly holding the position.

  4. Slowly lower your upper body and legs back to the starting position without touching the ground.
