Pull-ups are a fundamental upper back exercise that strengthens the latissimus dorsi, shoulders, and arms.
Stand under a horizontal bar, and grasp the bar with both hands using a grip slightly wider than shoulder-width.
Hang from the bar and slowly pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar. Keep your elbows in a position parallel to the bar.
Slowly lower yourself without letting go of the bar. Repeat the exercise by pulling yourself up again until your chin is over the bar.
Ensure good form by pulling your shoulders down and tensing your abs to keep your back straight.
