Lateral Raise (Dumbbell)

Dumbbell Lateral Raise is an exercise for the lateral shoulder muscles. Make sure not to raise the shoulders during the exercise and keep your back straight. Avoid swinging motions and perform the exercise in a controlled manner.

  1. Hold a dumbbell in each hand and stand with a straight back and slightly bent knees.

  2. Arms should hang by your side with palms facing your body.

  3. Lift the dumbbells sideways with a slight bend in the elbows until your arms reach shoulder height.

  4. Pause for a moment at the top, then slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
