Jump Rope

Jump rope, also known as skipping, is a simple but effective exercise that improves endurance, enhances coordination, and activates many muscle groups in the body, especially the legs, shoulders, and arms. The exercise is performed with a jump rope that is swung over the head while hopping to allow the rope to pass under the feet.

  1. Stand upright and hold the rope at both ends, with your hands about shoulder height.

  2. Start swinging the rope over your head while jumping to let it pass under your feet.

  3. Try to swing the rope in a steady rhythm and coordinate your jumps to keep the rope passing under your feet.
