Kettlebell Swing (Overhand Grip) / Kettlebell Overhand Grip Swing is a dynamic full-body exercise that primarily targets the hip and glute muscles. Ensure you follow the correct technique to avoid injury. Start with a light kettlebell and gradually increase the weight as you feel more comfortable and master the movement.

  1. Begin by holding a kettlebell with both hands. Your feet should be about shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent.

  2. Hold the kettlebell between your legs and keep your back straight. Your arms should be extended and slightly bent.

  3. Bend your hips back and then quickly thrust them forward as you swing the kettlebell upward. Ensure the power comes from your hips and not your arms.

  4. Keep your arms extended as the kettlebell swings forward. The kettlebell should reach about shoulder height or slightly above.

  5. Let the kettlebell swing back between your legs by bending your hips back again.

  6. Perform the movement in a fluid and controlled tempo, generating momentum with the power of your hips.
