Cable Row is a strength exercise for the upper back, performed with a cable machine. It is important to maintain proper posture throughout the exercise to avoid injuries. Keep the core and shoulders active to create a stable base while executing the movement.
Set the cable machine to a low setting and attach a bar handle.
Stand on a raised platform (e.g., a barbell or bench) so that the cable is slightly taut.
Grasp the bar handle with both hands and lean back so that your body forms a straight line.
Pull the bar handle to your chest, squeezing your shoulder blades together and keeping elbows close to your body.
Hold the tension briefly and then slowly lower the bar handle back to the starting position.
