Windmill (Kettlebell)

The Windmill (Kettlebell) is a demanding stability and core exercise that strengthens the obliques, shoulder stability, and posterior chain. The torso rotates and bends sideways under control while the kettlebell remains locked out overhead. Perform the movement slowly and maintain a stable overhead shoulder position.

  1. Stand with your feet slightly turned out, holding the kettlebell locked out overhead with one arm.

  2. Slowly hinge and bend sideways, reaching your free hand toward the floor while keeping your eyes on the kettlebell.

  3. Pause when your hand touches your shin or the floor, then return to the standing position under control.
